Street to System

Street to System explores how the raw, expressive language of graffiti can be translated into a structured typographic identity. I documented local graffiti and studied its lettering, layering, movement, and visual character, using these observations to develop an original typeface. I then applied the typeface across several fictional brand identities, exploring what happens when a visual language rooted in public expression and resistance enters a more polished, commercial context.
